"Straight Outta Compton" has raked in a whopping $67.7 million at the box office since its release last Friday.

The hit biopic centers on the true story of the rise of Dr. Dre and Ice Cube's hip-hop group, N.W.A.

One person who wants to cash in on the film's success is Ice Cube's "Next Friday" costar, "The African King of Comedy,"Michael Blackson.

Blackson played "Customer #1" in a memorable cameo in 2000's "Next Friday," in which he tries to return a CD after chewing on it, yelling at the cashier, "This is whack! I can't get jiggy with this!"

Blackson has since acted in a string of unmemorable TV shows and movies, but he tours the country as a stand-up comedian and has an impressive 693,000 Instagram followers and 639,000 Twitter followers.

On Tuesday, Blackson posted a photo of the measly residual check he still receives for his scene in "Next Friday" and jokingly asked Ice Cube to put his newfound "Straight Outta Compton" money towards another "Friday" sequel he could star in.

Blackson wrote in the photo's caption:

"Damn #IceCube ya made $60mil over the weekend with #StraightOutOfCompton so take some of that money and let's make #LastFriday and tell Warner brothers to stop sending me this $14 checks it cost $10 to cash it by the time I buy gas I'm negative $11. Can ya tag that neega n tell him to help his African broda."

Josh Duggar, TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" star and former executive director for the conservative lobbying group Family Research Council, may have been a member of the extramarital-dating site Ashley Madison.

According to a report by Gawker, information from the recent hacking of Ashley Madison connects two memberships to Duggar.

According to the site:

• A credit card in Duggar's name was used to pay for at least one of the two memberships.
• The credit card's billing address matched that of his grandmother's Fayetteville, Arkansas, home, where the reality show often shot.
• One of the accounts was opened in July 2014 and was linked to his home in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
• The two accounts in Duggar's name overlapped by a few months and were active from February 2013 to May 2015.
• Citing the leaked data, Gawker said Duggar indicated he was looking for a partner for a series of sex acts, including "experimenting with sex toys,""conventional" and oral sex, "sharing fantasies," and "sex talk."
• Duggar apparently paid a $250 fee to "receive a money-back 'affair guarantee'" if he didn't have an affair within three months.

During the time in which Duggar was allegedly a member, he was lobbying against causes including same-sex marriage as one of the top-ranking members of the Family Research Council, and he was married to his wife, Anna, for at least five years when the first account was created.

While the details of these accounts strongly suggest Duggar was an Ashley Madison member, Thursday's "Today" show reported that many emails found in the hack could have been faked, as Ashley Madison didn't confirm email addresses.

Before these reports, Duggar had already been embroiled in controversy. In May, reports began to surface that Duggar, the oldest of the Duggar children at age 27, had molested five children, including four of his sisters, about 12 years ago. The parents decided to keep the incidents private instead of alerting authorities when they first learned of the abuse. Later that month, he admitted to the molestation on the family's official Facebook page.

TLC pulled the show from airings in May and then officially canceled the show in July. As a result of the controversy, TLC partnered with the abuse-prevention organizations RAINN and Darkness to Light on a new documentary addressing the issue of molestation titled "Breaking the Silence," which will air commercial-free on Sunday, August 30, at 10 p.m.

TLC had no comment for this article. The Duggars and Ashley Madison didn't immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment.

Caitlyn Jenner could face a manslaughter charge following a chain-reaction crash that resulted in the death of Kim Howe on February 7.

"We've learned the Sheriff's Dept. concluded in its 161-page report that Jenner 'set off a chain of events' that led to the death of a motorist on Pacific Coast Highway, and the report says Jenner violated the law by traveling at an unsafe speed," reports TMZ.

Jenner was actually driving below the speed limit, but driving at an unsafe speed for the road conditions that day, Det. Richard Curry of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department told the LA Times.

A single misdemeanor manslaughter charge could mean a yearlong jail sentence.

Jenner has previously said she was not texting at the time of the accident and that the paparazzi were following her that day, but she was not evading them.

The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County district attorney for review next week.

"19 Kids and Counting" star and former conservative lobbyist, Josh Duggar, has come clean on his shady online "double life" and and admitted to cheating on his wife amid reports that he was a member of adultery website Ashley Madison.

"I have been the biggest hypocrite ever," he wrote on the official Duggar family website. "While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife."

The mea culpa arrives after reports of his close to two-year Ashley Madison membership spread since a Gawker report late on Wednesday. Duggar's membership was just one of the 37 million identities revealed after the adultery site was hacked in July.

"I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him," Duggar's statement continued.

Before this controversy, Duggar admitted to molesting at least five young girls, including four of his sisters on the family's official Facebook page. TLC pulled "19 Kids" from airings in May and then officially canceled the show in July.

In addition, Duggar resigned from his position as executive director of conservative Christian lobbying group, the Family Research Council. As part of the FRC, Duggar fought against causes like gay marriage.

"The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country, I was hiding my own personal failings," he also said in Thursday's statement.

With a hit summer movie, an Emmy nod for her show on Comedy Central, and an HBO special in the works, Amy Schumer's career is at an all-time high.

But all that success hasn't affected her spending habits. The 34-year-old comedian is still living in a small apartment in New York City.

Schumer recently told Radio 1’s Scott Mills, "I’m like the richest person I know and I have a one-bedroom and a walk-up. My bed folds up into the wall and I iron there."

As for why she hasn't upgraded, Schumer said, "Everyone says I’ll make money on the next thing, but they’ve been saying that for 11 years."

Schumer has quite the rocky history with New York City real estate.

She has lived on the Upper West Side, Chinatown, Murray Hill, Williamsburg, and reportedly now Chelsea.

In 2011, Schumer talked to BrickUnderground about her apartment woes:

I moved to NYC to become an actress in 2003 when I graduated from college. I found a small studio for the monthly rent of $1,275 in Chinatown via Craigslist where I dealt with a shady broker — again with my habit of gravitating towards abusive relationships — who tried to give me advice on how to hack it in this city. I thought I could afford the place but soon had to get a roommate — in a STUDIO. I placed an ad on Craigslist and found a student from Ohio willing to pay for half the rent to sleep on a loft bed. Luckily she was great and we’d sit around watching 'Sex and the City.' Neither of us had much of a social life as bringing someone home was really tricky.

From there, Schumer moved to "a huge 2BR duplex in Chelsea for only $1,600 a month" where she only had to pay $800 a month, but things didn't work out because "the only issue with the apartment was the roommate was a big slut."

So Schumer, who grew up on the Upper East Side, packed up and headed to her own studio apartment on the Upper West Side.

"I found it through a broker and truly love it," she said at the time. "I continue to appreciate the neighborhood and am thrilled I have no bugs. What irritates me is the size. With my bike housed in my apartment, it is tiny. It has everything that a big house would but shoved into a ridiculously small area. The closets weren’t built correctly so to open one door I have maneuver myself in weird positions, like Indiana Jones."

One day she hopes to purchase her dream home — "a penthouse in the West Village by the water."

In the 2011 interview with BrickUnderground, Schumer, who has always rented, revealed that "I did think about buying but unfortunately the banker said I am far away from being able to afford it. Someday … someday."

With Schumer's latest movie, "Trainwreck," raking in over $111 million worldwide at the box office on just a $35 million budget, it looks like someday may be today.

Remember the name Frank Dillane. You'll be hearing a lot about him in the coming weeks.

The 24-year-old actor captured the attention of viewers during Sunday's season premiere of AMC's "Walking Dead" companion series, "Fear the Walking Dead." Not just a handsome face, he certainly did a great job during some of the premiere episode's most exciting scenes.

Here's some things to know about Frank Dillane:

Acting is the family business.
Dillane's father is Stephen Dillane, an actor on "Game of Thrones" who was nominated for an Emmy for his role on miniseries "John Adams." Stephen and Frank worked together on a couple films, including the feature film, "Papadopoulos & Sons."

Dillane's mother, Naomi Wirthner, is the director and co-founder of a theater company called Barebones Project.

He's already sort of familiar with zombies. He apparently played one at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in a student film. He graduated from RADA in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in acting.

The London-born actor worked with a dialogue coach for "Fear the Walking Dead."
"Dialect was my biggest fear, so I spent a long time working with dialect coaches just trying to get American down," he told Entertainment Weekly. "I think it’s very important and very easy to misinterpret. So, I mean I haven’t seen the pilot yet, so I am not sure as to whether I did a good job yet or not, but the accent is certainly my biggest fear."

 You may remember him from a little role in 2009's "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."

OK, so not a little part at all. He played Tom Riddle — basically Lord Voldermort at 16-years-old.

His fans still love him in the role.

And although it wasn't a big role, he was memorable on Netflix's "Sense8" earlier this year.

Dillane played Shugs, Riley's (Tuppence Middleton) close friend.

This year, Dillane also stars in the Ron Howard film "In the Heart of the Sea" alongside Chris Hemsworth.

The film was supposed to be out in March, but it has been pushed to December.

His next film is about a punk band on tour. It's called "Viena and the Fantomes" and has a pretty stellar cast: Zoë Kravitz, Dakota Fanning, Evan Rachel Wood, and Jon Bernthal. 

For now, catch Frank Dillane on AMC's "Fear the Walking Dead" Sundays at 9 p.m.

We've been observing both women's follower counts for the past several weeks, and Kardashian West's account is growing followers at a much quicker rate than Beyoncé's. So it stands to reason that barring a huge push from Queen Bey's loyal fanbase, the singer's days of being Instagram Queen are over.

Both women predominantly post photos of themselves and their families — especially their adorable daughters — on Instagram. The main difference: Kardashian West appears to update her account more often, and her photo captions are wordier and more personal. 

For example, this recent photo of Beyoncé and daughter Blue Ivy is captioned with just a blue heart emoji.

Here's a recent one from Kardashian West, captioned: "Bored selfie on the boat because I can't jet pack or jet ski."

It recently came to light that Beyoncé nabbed the much-coveted cover of Vogue magazine's September issue, which likely gave her a boost in followers — especially since she posted Vogue-approved behind-the-scenes footage of the photo shoot on her Instagram account.

But as one savvy Twitter user just pointed out, Kardashian West might have gotten that final extra push thanks to her husband's sneaker release this weekend.

The internet was a buzz last week with news that two different types of smelly, biting bugs had infested the land where the annual Burning Man festival is set to take place starting August 30.

While the pesky pest report initially came from the official Burning Man blog last Wednesday, the same blog was quick to dismiss the severity of the rumors on Thursday in a post titled "Don't Believe The Buzz."

By Friday, the blog claimed: "The bugs are gone. not every last stinking one of them, but pretty much. The swarms have dried up and blown away. People are working unmolested. Nature has run its course."

So what's the real story? It appears there was a severe infestation when organizers first arrived on the playa (as the desert land is called), with bugs "everywhere" that "bite, crawl all over you, and get up and in you," according to official first reports.

But by the weekend, the bugs had apparently subsided.

The Burning Man blog wrote a new post on Saturday easing the anxieties of the 70,000 future festival-goers, assuring them that "the billion wood-boring beetles that descended on the Man’s legs at Man Base have evidently been exterminated":

Burning Man will not be brought to you by Citronella and DEET this year. Behind us are the horrific fear-saturated nights of swarming green beetles, clouds of fluttering moths, biting flying ants, stinging noseeums and locusts so thick we had to don Hazmat suits and run in sheer terror from container to container to avoid being eaten alive. 

So what happened to the bugs? It could have been a few things...

We aren’t sure if it was the water trucks spraying vegan and gluten-free Malathion that did the trick. Or it may have been the initial deployment of our BRC Drone Bug Zappers that took out the first wave of stink bugs on Wednesday. They rose from the Depot, all flying in formation into the incoming swarms trillions thick, zapping blue and littering the playa with millions of twitching sizzling bug corpses. Some attribute our victory to Ranger Rico and his Roughnecks who were equipped with armor exoskeletons and flamethrowers that allowed them to capture the Brain Bug. We may never know, but somehow we prevailed. We witnessed, persevered and we survived.

Or, as entomologist and insect photographer Alex Wild explained to Gizmodo last week during the outbreak: "Desert species are prone to boom/bust cycles. [They] may just be passing through."

Kanye West fans were in a frenzy this weekend after the rapper's latest line of Adidas sneakers, the Yeezy Boost 350, immediately sold out.

Fans waited in hours-long lines outside of Adidas stores from London to Chicago to get the sneakers on Saturday, but the majority of the $200 limited edition shoes were reserved for customers who had pre-ordered online.

Most who went to purchase online day-of were greeted by this:

Just an hour after the sneakers went on sale to the general public Saturday morning at approximately 11:25 a.m. EST, the official Adidas Twitter account posted: "#YEEZYBOOST 350 is now sold out online in the U.S."

Burning Man doesn't even start until August 30th, but it's already off to a rocky start.

First, there was the infestation of giant green bugs that, according to Burning Man's official blog, "bite, crawl all over you, and get up and in you."

The bugs have apparently since "dried up and blown away," but in a new blog post from Saturday, festival organizers sarcastically warned that "Bugpocalypse was just a warm up to our possibly most menacing problem. The clowns are waiting with painted smiles to welcome you to Black Rock City."

Burning Man's official art theme this year is "Carnival of Mirrors," hence the imminent scary clown costumes.

According to the blog post from the weekend, "This is not going to be a good year for clown fearing folks... prepare for Sad Clown Town."

They wander around town even now, shapes in the darkness, ducking behind containers, appearing then disappearing at meetings. They’ve applied their make-up that is becoming caked with alkaline playa dust and is slowly fading each day. Prepare for Sad Clown Town. And beware Plug and Players, the clowns have your number. Locate, Tag, Track and Acculturate. Participate or clowns will eat you. My advice is to befriend a clown as soon as possible upon arrival. They are a hive mind and they can sense your intentions and fear.

...And don’t worry about the bugs. Clowns are far scarier.

This year's festival will be set up a bit like an old-fashioned carnival, complete with a funhouse at the center that "will contemplate the puzzle of self-consciousness."

At the heart of this disorienting maze, a final passage will reveal a courtyard that surrounds the Burning Man. Photo booths will here record the faces of participants, merging them into a swirling stream that will envelop the entire body of the Man. The brittle mirror and the occulting mask will melt away, and at this point there’ll be no gag, no swag, no souvenir of self; the show will be you.

Several Halloween costume retailers are under fire for selling a Caitlyn Jenner costume.

Based on Jenner's Vanity Fair cover, the costume features a white bodysuit with a "padded top" and sash that reads "Call Me Caitlyn."

While buycostumes.com has pulled the costume, it's still available for $74.99 on sites including wholesalehalloweencostumes.com, spirithalloween.com, and anytimecostumes.com.

The costume's descriptions reads: "Included are a white padded top and matching shorts as well as a brunette wig so that you can dress as the softer side of the popular Olympian ... You probably won't break any Twitter records when you wear this outfit like Caitlyn did when she first made her account, but you'll be sure to get a few laughs out of your friends and the other guests at the get together."

After news of the costume spread, there has been an intense Twitter backlash:

Spirit Halloween's senior director of marking, Lisa Barr, tried defending the costume in a statement to MSNBC: "At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes. We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

But Addison Vincent, the creator of a Change.org petition asking Spirit Halloween to discontinue sales of the costume, counters: "Do not turn Cailtyn Jenner into a costume. Your profit will only lead to greater transphobia and marginalization of an already at-risk community."

The actual Caitlyn Jenner has yet to respond to the costume or backlash.

Ronda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather are never going to get into the ring or Octagon together, regardless of how much people seem to want it to happen. But their war of words is probably going to keep us entertained for years to come.

If you haven't been keeping up with it, here's a quick update: Mayweather addressed Rousey as a "he" during an interview last year. Rousey responded by bringing up Mayweather's various domestic-violence incidents earlier this year. She then doubled down on that by taking another shot at Mayweather during the 2015 ESPY Awards. And Mayweather responded by playing the "I'm richer than you" card in response to it before trying to bury the hatchet with Rousey earlier this month.

Rousey isn't quite ready to call a truce yet, though, and TMZ Sports has the proof. She spoke with a paparazzo about how things have been going with her recently and, during her interview, she took aim at Mayweather by claiming that she makes more money per second than he does — and saying that Mayweather can text her to talk about it once he learns how to read.

"[Floyd] said, 'You make $300 million a night, then you can give me a call,'" she said. "I actually did the math and, given the numbers of my last fight, I'm actually the highest-paid UFC fighter, and I'm a woman. I think I actually make two to three times more than he does per second ... so when he learns to read and write, he can text me."

YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley will reportedly have to shell out $400,000 to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West for wrongfully taping and exhibiting their big stadium engagement proposal.

According to TMZ, that's how the involved parties are settling a lawsuit in which the famous couple accused Hurley of shooting footage (despite signing a confidentiality agreement) of their 2013 proposal at San Francisco's AT&T Park in 2013 and leaking it on his new internet venture, MixBit.

The site reports that Hurley wasn't invited to the event, but that he was allowed to stay if he signed a confidentiality agreement. Instead, he posted the video on MixBit, tweeted it out to his nearly a million followers, and put out a press release.

In court documents, the couple accuse Hurley of being desperate for another big company after he and his partners sold YouTube to Google for $1.65 billion.

The couple says that the footage belonged to "Keeping Up With the Kardashian" producers Bunim/Murray and E!.

It later aired on the E! reality show in February 2014.

Representatives for West and Kardashian West didn't immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment on the reported settlement. 

Hurley's rep pointed BI to the following tweet from Hurley:

Who knew Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer were such besties?

It was only the other day when we found out the two were costarring in and writing a movie together. Now they're executing choreographed flash mobs with Hall of Fame musicians.

Hollywood's new dynamic duo appeared on-stage with Billy Joel during his concert at Chicago's Wrigley Field on Thursday night. Schumer and Lawrence appeared with a group of folks, which included Schumer's sister, Kim Caramele, and "Inside Amy Schumer" writer Kyle Dunnigan, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Before we get into the actual performance, take a look at the rehearsal:

Joel gave a hint at the beginning of his hit song "Uptown Girl," when he asked, "Any of you guys seen the movie "Trainwreck"?
